Essex 2045 Transportation Plan

The Essex 2045 Transportation Plan for Essex County, New Jersey focused on the current and long-term needs of residents and travelers. I created a base map and a set of 15 maps showing demographics, crash hotspots, transportation conditions, areas of interest, and land use. 

We used these maps to evaluate transportation needs for the county. We focused specifically on equity and safety, noting that many of the areas with the highest concentration of crashes were located in low-income and minority neighborhoods.
